Grades: Other
Subjects: Special Education

Student Instructions

Soon you will be doing your laundry by yourself. Some people put all the laundry in one load and some people divide the laundry into groups by colors. We are going to learn how to divide our laundry into groups. The groups include whites, lights, and darks. Whites are items that can tolerate bleach. Lights are items that are light colors such as pink, tan, yellow, or other light colors. Darks are colors such as black, blue, red, or green. Darks and lights can be the same color but one is lighter in color than the other. For example, blue jeans would be a dark item and a light blue shirt would be in the light group.
