This fun Mario style game activity has been designed for students who are just starting to learn rhythm notation. It can be easily adapted for more advanced students by changing the note values, time signature or length of bars/measures. The activity can be used as one standalone activity that students can undertake in class or at home to revise learning of rhythm and/or for assessment purposes. It can also be split into a set of shorter activities (eg. each level could be a one page quick activity) to support the continuous learning of rhythm as students learn different note values. It can done face to face in class, as homework or in a remote/hybrid situation with support and/or completely independently Digital badges on PAGE 8 - A few options on how to use these: * There is an extra page with the digital badges to award as the students complete the different levels. * Allow students to place the badges in each page or do it yourself. * Alternatively, delete the page and download the badges from here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1yyJrYi4Y39DWVXVgbFmiJH6Jz70oyalq?usp=sharing * You can also create your own rewards!
