Teachers, save “Sorting Rocks” to assign it to your class.

1. Find 10-20 rocks outside. Try to find as many different rocks as you can. 2. Click on the picture to the left to see a few examples of how I sorted my rocks. 3. Decide how you want to sort them. You can sort them by color, shape, size, or many other ways. 4. Once you have sorted them into your groups, tap 5. Tap and take a picture of your sorted rocks. 6. Use to label each group. For example: if one group have all gray rocks, it can be the gray rock group. 7. Tap and tell me how you sorted your rocks. 8. Tap and send it to me! *Keep these rocks in a safe place. We will use them again!
