Click ๐ on the link if you would like to hear the story. After Goldilocks come through the house and messed things up the Bears decided it was time to redecorate anyway. Using items from around the classroom (or your home) make some new chairs and beds for the Bears. You will see pictures of chairs made from connecting cubes and dominos, but you can use any materials you would like- Lego, paper, boxes, cups, cardboard, blocks, or anything else you would like to try. Click ๐on the template. On the first slide you will see some possible examples, but don't limit yourself. Use your creativity and make some new furniture for the bears. This activity gives students the chance to create while at the same time work on measuring and comparing. I have used this in my classroom and the results were shared at a school wide learning showcase. If you do this in the classroom be prepared for excited learning noise.
