Standards: Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words. (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.) (RF.K.2(d)), Blend and segment onsets and rimes of single-syllable spoken words. (RF.K.2(c)), Add or substitute individual sounds (phonemes) in simple, one-syllable words to make new words. (RF.K.2(e)), Orally produce single-syllable words by blending sounds (phonemes), including consonant blends. (RF.1.2(b)), Decode regularly spelled one-syllable words. (RF.1.3(b))

Student Instructions

1. Select add 2. Use the pen tool to write the first word. 3. Continue down the list changing the first letter as described. 4. When you have written 3 words, use the mic on the left and record yourself reading the words. 5. When you are done, select check to add this to your journal.
