Student Instructions
This activity will help you develop your writing in response to a picture. Get a pen and a piece of paper. Then, click on the video to watch the writing lesson. Think of your own sentence you would like to write about the monarch butterfly. Think about what you can see - the colours and details of its wing and body, what you think it may be doing, the flower that it is standing on, etc. Say your sentence out loud. Write your sentence. Remember to think about the success criteria: - Say your sentence - Capital letter at the beginning. - Sound it out. - Use your sight words. - Finger space between each word. - Full stop at the end. Take a photo of your writing and add it to the template. Read your sentence. Submit your work.
