Student Instructions
In our new unit of inquiry, we will be developing our Research Skills through making observations, asking questions, making hypotheses or predictions. Today, you will watch a video showing the Elephant Toothpaste experiment. It is a really cool experiment! First, watch the video (3 minutes long)- focus on watching the video, no need to talk about what you are observing yet. Next, watch the video again and pause it after each level and ask yourself the questions "What did I see happening?" and "Why do you think that is happening?" and "What less do I want to know about this experiment?" Then, draw a picture to show what you saw happening in the video. You can use paper or draw directly on Seesaw, if you wish. Share the drawing on Seesaw and tap the to share your observations. Learning Intentions: To develop beginning research skills -observing, formulating questions, making predictions, presenting data
