Student Instructions

For this activity, you will practice identifying fractions of a whole. The whole will be your name! To begin, click add. Part 1: Use the label tool to type your name. Part 2: Use the pen tool to neatly partition and label the strip into the number of letters in your name. USE fraction form. Part 3: Use the pen tool to neatly partition and label the number line into the number of letters in your name. USE fraction form. Part 4: Use the label tool to answer the questions using the different parts of your name. If you finish your first name, try your middle or last on the last pages. When you are finished, click check to submit.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This activity can be broken into 3 different activities. A teaching tip may be to complete one of the pages as a whole class, then allow students to do the other pages independently.
